While some parents know the gender and name of their baby long before its arrival, Will’s parents were surprised with the arrival of a baby boy. And a couple of weeks after his arrival, they’re still waiting to surprise friends and family with his middle name. His mom chose a fabric for the nursery that would work for a girl or a boy-- colorful birds and leaves, and it turns out I had some of the same fabric in my stash. So we used that fabric and the bird theme, and stuck with his first name on his gift set since he still doesn’t have a complete monogram!
