Baby Week: Inspiration | Sports

Inspiration comes from all places—Preston’s family loves baseball, so I created this set to celebrate their love of the game.  (I was so excited how the decorative stitching on the edge of the burp cloth mimics the stitching on a baseball!)

Lest you think sports inspired designs are just for boys—here’s one for a little girl.  Her parents hadn’t settled on a name yet, so we just used a sufficiently girly font (see how the “i” is dotted with a heart?)  so it wasn’t too boyish. (And I should also point out that this shows how hard I’ll work to make someone happy.  In college, a favorite t-shirt read “Friends don’t let friends go to Michigan.”  And yet I made this.   And I made it cute, too.)
