Swapping Monograms

Several people have asked me for ideas about what to do with all their monogrammed clothing.  If you’re anything like me, once you’ve set aside your favorite heirloom pieces, you’ve still got a stack of lovely things.  I’ve heard of people who use them to make a quilt.  Or selling them on ebay is always an option.  But I’ve just discovered The Monogram Swap.  It’s a site where you can list your monogrammed items—you photograph and price the item and ship it out once it’s been sold.  At the end of the month they send money to your paypal account less ten percent.  And their facebook site looks to be a great place to get in touch with people directly to swap monograms.  Such a cool idea, I know I’m going to keep an eye on them!
