For the love of a plaid

This little guy’s mom saw a Polo button down shirt and instantly bought it, even though it was a little small for him, because she loved the fabric.  They got one season out of it, but she couldn’t quite bear to part with her beloved plaid so soon.  She brought me the shirt, and I used it to make this sailboat so that she can continue to enjoy her favorite blue and green check for another season or two.
