There was the time that I really got into knitting, and made a lot of neat scarves and two baby hats... Then there is the time every year when I decide that I should really take up smocking, I could totally do it! (Luckily, that one always passes before I buy the pleater and start trying to cut out bishop dresses...) My latest hobby-- jewelry. I went to a big bead show with some friends and came back with these awesome giant crystal quartz beads. I finally got everything that I needed to make the necklace (there's a lot more involved than just the beads!) and finished it yesterday. I was so excited I just had to show it off! Now I can't wait until the next bead show. (Thanks for the inspiration and help, Sally!)
