Happy Birthday, Piper!

Today is a big day—Piper’s first birthday!  When my eldest turned one, I remember thinking back a year to the day she was born, and as I realized that she didn’t understand her birthday at all, I came to a conclusion.  The first birthday celebration is really for the mom, she had a pretty big day the year before, too.  So we had a super yummy dinner at one of my favorite restaurants while I pondered how that day (and year!) had changed my life.  So happy birthday, Piper!  I hope your mom celebrates appropriately!
