It’s all in the name | Part Two

(Disclaimer:  This posting has nothing to do with my as yet unnamed and therefore uncreated crafty blog.  Still looking for ideas…)

Since I’ve started monogramming, I’ve seen a lot of names with a lot of different spellings.  I’m always interested to know where the name came from…  This is a baby gift set for baby Arwen.  Her daddy chose her name—Arwen is a character from JRR Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings.  Of course, her aunt wasn’t too surprised, as his older daughter is named for a character from Star Trek.

Since daddy chose the name, we made this gift extra girly to please mom.  And there’s no judgment here on the name.  My daddy chose my name, too, Arwen.  Anyone remember the Bionic Woman?
