Happy Birthday, Leila!

Leila celebrated her first birthday last weekend, and this adorable shirt was just what she needed.  As I’ve said before, I think first birthdays are more to celebrate the mom—hers was a big day the year before, too.  And Leila’s mom loves pink and brown, so we used those colors for her birthday shirt.  I can’t believe I haven’t used them on a cupcake applique before—I love how it turned out.  (Too bad my photography skills can’t quite do the combination justice!)
