Something Blue

This actually fills a couple of items in the standard bridal rhyme—something old and something blue.  Since it’s not going to be returned, though, I’m not quite sure it can qualify as something borrowed.

The woman who commissioned this project brought me several inches of the entire hem of her wedding gown.  I monogrammed a small piece with the new bride’s initials in a lovely light blue, and they will cut it to the size they want to pin inside the bridal gown.  It turned out so beautifully; what a lovely, generous gift.
