Happy Birthday, Joy!

Tomorrow Joy will celebrate her first birthday with lots of friends and family at an ice cream social birthday party.  Pink has been Joy’s color since before she was born, so I coupled pinks with sprinkles fabric (like will be on all those sundaes!) to give her the perfect celebratory accessory.Before she was born, doctors discovered that Joy had a congenital heart defect, and she underwent open heart surgery when she was only days old.  So now, happy and healthy, her family is ready to celebrate their first year with their little miracle.  Hate to miss your party, Joy, but I’m glad to know you’ll be celebrating in style!
