A Special Birthday Surprise

My daughter’s teacher had a birthday a few weeks ago.  We had planned to make her a monogrammed coffee cup, but I was totally stuck on ideas for fabric.  Only two days before her birthday (yes, I should have done it earlier!) I was still thinking about fabric choices when I this new fabric was released.  I just love Oliver + S patterns, but when Leisel Gibson wrote her first book, she designed fabrics just for her projects and released them on Spoonflower.  My daughter’s class mascot is the Starfish, and I was thrilled to find this fabric in such a modern color palette and such a lovely design.
